The funeral service of the late Metropolitan Pavlos took place in the Cathedral of Glyfada

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and of all Greece precided at the funeral service of Metropolitan Pavlos of Glyfada, Ellinikon, Voula, Vouliagmeni and Vari, in the Cathedral of St. Constantine and Eleni, in Glyfada.

High priests from Greece and abroad, politicians and representatives of the Local Government, the Armed Forces, the Hellenic Police, clergy and a multitude of believers, were present in the service.

The Press Spokesman of the Standing Holy Synod, Bishop Klimis of Methoni, the representative of Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and All Africa in Athens, Metropolitan George of Guinea, Protosyncellus Archimandrite Alexios Psoinos, on behalf of the Cleric of the Metropolis of Glyfada and the Mayor of Flyfada, Mr. Giorgos Papanikolaou, spoke about the personality and the work of the late Metropolitan.

Subsequently, the body of the late Metropolitan Pavlos of Glyfada, was transferred to the Holy Monastery of Agia Triada – Agios Nektarios in Ano Glyfada, where he was buried at his own request.
