Patriarch Irinej of Serbia officiated in Saint Nicholas in Zemun-Belgrade

Patriarch Irinej of Serbia officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Saint Nicholas church in Zemun – Belgrade on December 19, 2019, on the feast of Saint Nicholas the Miracle-Worker.

The Divine Liturgy was concelebrated by Archimandrite Seraphim (Kužić), abbot of the Rajinovac Monastery, hieromonk Petar (Bogdanovic) from the Tuman Monastery, protopresbyter-staurophors Ljuba Milosevic from New Jersey, Luka Novakovic from Philadelphia and Drasko Tepavac, presbyter Vladimir Prasic and deacons Vladimir Rumenic and Dragan Tanasijevic.

Following the solemn Liturgy, the Patriarch of Serbia in accordance with a decision of the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, awarded Goran Vlaovic, MA, from Belgrade, a high decoration – Order of Saint Sava, for his selfless love for the Holy Mother Church, especially shown by his wholehearted aid to the church of the Saint Nicholas in Zemun as well as to other churches in the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci and throughout the Serbian Orthodox Church.
