Today, Saturday, June 29, Metropolitan Theologos of Serres had a Meeting with the President of New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The Metropolitan welcomed at the Diocese of the Holy Metropolis the President of New Democracy, with whom he had, in a particularly cordial climate, a private discussion on various ecclesiastical issues.
Among other things, the President of New Democracy and the Metropolitan discussed the issue of the clergy vacancies, especially at the border metropolises.
Mr. Mitsotakis stressed to Mr. Theologos that he deeply loves and respects the Church and honestly appreciates its great contribution to the cohesion and unity of our Nation.
