In his personal Twitter account, the Primate of the Autocephalous Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius, called for dialogue and unification to all believers.
Metropolitan Epiphanius urged all believers, especially during the next Great Lent, to pray for victory and peace, “for the communities and clergy of our Church in the occupied territories of the Donbass and the Crimea, and for all those who suffer from captivity”.
In his second tweet, Metropolitan Epiphanius said: “We call for dialogue and unification on the basis of the autocephalous status of the UOC that part of the Orthodox hierarchs, clergy, monastics and laity in Ukraine, which are still under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church”.
“Our hearts and brotherly hugs are open to you,” said Metropolitan Epiphanius.
