Archbishop Nikitas officiated his first Divine Liturgy as Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain.
The glorious co-liturgy was held at St. Sophia’s Cathedral in London, presided by Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira.
The Holy Service was also held by Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta, Metropolitan Georgios of Guinea, Metropolitan Dimitrios of Irinoupolis, Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago, Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Ilioupolis, Bishop Athanasios of Tropaion, Bishop Irinej of Eastern America, Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos and Bishop Maximus of Melitene.
There also performed Priors of Xenophontos and Pantokratoros Monasteries of Mount Athos, Alexios and Gabriel.
It is also worth noting that a crowd of faithful swarmed the Church to honor the new Archbishop with their presence.
