First Divine Liturgy in Saint Constantine Church of Cairo after its renovation to be held on August 15

The first Divine Liturgy of Saint Constantine and Helen Church of Cairo, after its grand renovation, will be held on the day of the Dormition of Our Most Holy Lady, the Mother of God.

It will be the first Divine Liturgy to take place after the renovation undertaken by the Great Benefactor of Egyptian Hellenism, Catherine Sofianos Belefantis, jointly with the Greek Community of Cairo.

The announcement by the Patriarchal Commission of Cairo states:

“With the blessing of our Father Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and all Africa, on the 15th of August, on the Feast of the Dormition of Theotokos, we shall officiate the Festal Orthros and Holy Service at the renovated magnificent Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, in  Cairo. Sequel start time 9.00 am.
