The Ecumenical Patriarch asked the Hierarch of the Zionist Church to convey his love and wishes to Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, the whole of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre, but also to the faithful people of God who lives in the land associated with the earthly presence, the martyrdom and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Archbishop Theodosius of Sebastia conveyed the Patriarch’s fraternal embrace of the Ecumenical Patriarch.

The Ecumenical Patriarch subsequently received with approval the Metropolitan Vasilios of Constantia-Famagusta Basil, a representative of the Church of Cyprus during the feast of the Throne of the Church of Constantinople, as well as Members of Parliament and members of the Greek delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy.
